I’m here, back in Loches doing sensible things like laundry and vacuuming. The weather is magnificent and, when I returned, I noticed they had cleaned the pool.

Good thing I took the picture when I did because the next day it was full! So I said to the man in charge here Peut je nager maintenant? and he said Non, non, non! Okay. I can wait.

There was a car driving around town with big speakers sitting on top of it and making an announcement that I couldn’t understand. Something about a circus? So I decided to check out the next town for this circus.
Walking through the Prairies du Roy again. It’s always beautiful in the Prairies. And if you get far enough away from Loches you can get the whole royal city in one shot.
And I found this.

But no people! Then I read the sign. I read this and decided it started at 2pm? I must be over tired!
So I walked back to Loches, but not before taking more pictures of Beaulieu while I was there. Look at that blue sky!

I took the road this time and passed Sansac Manor. It’s a private residence and the fence is high enough you can’t take a picture of the building. I did manage to get a distant shot of the carving above the front door. It is thought to be one of the most accurate likenesses of King Francois I.
Which brings to mind the question “Who can own history?” If you’re tall enough you can get a picture of it.

I went back to the circus to find people. Here’s the car that was driving around.
No people!
This is their home. Pretty nice digs!
Still no one there. And it was after 4:30, so my misreading the time on the poster wasn’t a factor. Back to Loches again. No wonder my knee is bothering me!
There was a full moon, and a great reflection in the river toward the morning. I need different equipment for night pictures.

I hope your day has been as happy as mine was.
Love to all.
