Quiet day

I ironed today. There are irons and ironing boards in the laundry room to take to the apartments. It made me really grateful for the iron we have at home.

The pool will be open on Monday.

When I was on the bus to Tours I noticed a lot of caves behind houses on the main road into/out of town. I thought I’d walk that route today and take some pictures. It turns out I’m not as tall as a bus, and therefore couldn’t see over the fences and back into the yards. I did get a couple of pictures though.

This next one looked like it might be the actual house. It has an address and flower boxes on the deck.

And this one has stairs going up the front of it.

One more.

Then I came across an artist’s gallery on the street. He makes metal animals and they’re amazing.

If I could get it home, I’d pick one and adopt it.

Of course I took several side streets. I liked this one. It ended at the fire station. What I liked about it was that I could hear people on the other side of the walls working in their yards.

And I found that door knobs rounded out the day. Hehe

Today’s the day to do your happy dance.

Start dancing.
