A beautiful, sunny day without a cloud in the sky! Here’s a shot from the hotel room window facing the other way.
We are just roaming around Paris to see what we can see.

This golden flame is an exact replica of the Statue of Liberty flame. It was a gift from the US to France. It has nothing to do with Princess Diana, but it was installed directly above the underpass where she died and the people of Paris have decided it’s for her. Each year on the anniversary of her death they put pictures and flowers here.

This is Place du Canada. It’s beside the Seine, but almost everything worthwhile is.
And this is The Great Canadian Pub. It’s on the other side of the river.

There are lots of interesting places nearby.
Look at the buildings reflected in the window. I’m am an amazing photographer!
Art everywhere!

I should have the names of these places but I don’t. This is the Grand Palais however. They use it for exhibitions, art shows, and fashion week.

That last photo was Place de la Concorde, which is the biggest square in the city. This is where they beheaded Louis XIV and Maria Antoinette. (All information here is subject to confirmation by receiving parties)

These are the Tuilerie Gardens. Beautiful place to have lunch if you work nearby. And it’s next to the Louvre.

You could wander around Paris for years and still find new things.

I’m going to leave you with some nice doors. look at those knockers!

Love to you all.

And I love you!
