Last full day in Loches

I think this crossing sign is perfect. I see this couple on the streets every market day. The little man is telling the traffic to slow down.

This sign is pretty cute too, but I can’t figure out the breed.

While I’m on signs, here’s one ma sœur spotted above a drug store this morning on our way from coffee and croissants to the caves. It is metal.

Here are a few, hopefully new, views of things seen on the way to the caves.

And OMG! They’re closed!

The door to the caves remain closed. Poop! They have some pretty flowers though.

On the way back to Centre Ville I see a view of the Saint Ours church, the Logis Royal and the Tour de St. Antoine all in a row.

Of course we drown our sorrows the only way we know how, with a marvellous lunch! I forgot to take photos of the mains, but remembered to take the wine and desserts.

We’ll have to pack a bit tonight. Tomorrow we take the train to Paris for a last night there before heading back to Canada. We’ll have to make some kind of accounting to show Customs and Immigration, because I think it’s more difficult to get into Canada than it was to get into France.

Loches is gearing up for its tourist season. The little train is out waiting in the square for passengers.

This is just outside the city gates.

And this is the view from my window at night. I’m going to miss this. It’s been fabulous.

See you in Paris.

Love to you all.
